My Abstract!!

My proposed question was “what makes a blog successful?” I wondered about this because there are so many different types of blogs in the blogosphere. I wanted to know what a blogger does to attract readers, consciously or subconsciously. For my case studies, I followed and then analyzed three blogs, Waiter Rant, Parents Behaving Badly, and Dooce. I chose these three in hopes of finding something different about each that drew their audience back. I mentioned, for intent of unanswered questions that an interview could be done to achieve more information, but that my answers were quality answers to my proposed question, even if they were my strict opinion. In conclusion, I found that a successful blog contains links, a sense of friendship, humor, and credibility. All three of my case studies had this in common.
